If you’re the type that loves shopping, you’ll be able to visit Florida’s most extensive designer outlet mall, with some 300 shops that is situated atop Wannado City, an interactive play city for kids. So if you’re bringing family along, park the kids at a great place to entertain themselves while you shop.
For history buffs don’t forget to visit the 1921 Caribbean-style plantation that also served as winter studios for artists Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett. It has a whimsical 35-acre spread, complete with swans and ornate murals. The Bonnet House & Musuem Gardens is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
